Remona was born in the vibrant community of Jacks River, St. Mary, Jamaica, before moving to the United States to pursue a brighter future and further her education. During this journey, she discovered her love for track and field, one of Jamaica’s most celebrated sports. By the 9th grade, her dedication and talent earned her the impressive achievement of ranking 10th in her district for her exceptional performance in the 100m and 200m sprints. In addition to sprinting, she also showcased her versatility by competing in the long jump and high jump.
